A Passion for Capturing
Emotion
|
Welcome!
I was born in a darkroom
on the shores of Lake Michigan…
That's me at age six –
What a story that image
tells! I never liked this photo when I was growing up. – Now,
it's one of the most precious images I have! One of my parents
took this photo – I don't even know which one – they were both
excellent photographers. I can imagine their excitement, seeing
that crabby child pouting so fiercely and long enough to capture
the moment forever on film. Then, while processing the film
themselves, of course, and finally printing the image, I watched
eagerly, as I always did, as each image magically appeared in the
developer.
They may be gone now, but
I still have a priceless memory of their passion for capturing a
moment…a real moment.
My greatest joy is to find those truly real
images…great big eyes and twinkling smiles are a thrill, but
I love capturing all of the other real emotions!

Mountain Splendor works of light
photography offers both studio and location photography. My favorite
location for outdoor shots is high in the hills above Evergreen, Colorado – the
perfect place for your next photo.
For your upcoming session, I will choose a great mountain location near
Evergreen, or almost any
location you desire. The entire world is my outdoor studio!
Do
you love black and white? Well, so do I! Capture your entire session in the
timeless look of black and white or add black and white to your color
session. For other beautiful looks choose sepia toned images, hand-colored
portraits or digitized colorization and special effects.
For all the stages of
life from newborns to school years and graduation, from bridal portraits to
maternity, Mountain Splendor works of light photography will be happy
to capture a timeless image for you.
Outdoor sessions in the
magnificent mountain settings are so incredibly popular–please call right
away to plan your session.
